Charles Lehrer, Principal Designer
Charles brings with him a wealth of design experience, gained through years of work in Southern California at the San Diego Junior Theater and other Performing Arts Magnet High Schools in the area; and in Chicago, working in the Trade Show – Business Meeting – Theme Park arena. Charles has a B.A. in Theater and Drama from Indiana University, and an M.F.A. in Stage Design from Southern Methodist University where he studied with noted Broadway designers William and Jean Eckart. Charles is also a member of the United Scenic Artists, the union that represents designers, painters and other visual professionals throughout the entertainment industry. Charles has seen first hand how youngsters mature and gain self-confidence by being involved in a nurturing, supportive endeavor like a theatrical production, and it is his sincere desire that your production is a successful one - he hopes that his design work can lend in small part to that success.
Cheryle Duffy, Director of Marketing
Cheryle’s work history ranges far and wide: from the Stock Market to Retail to dancing with the Ohio Ballet. However, one thread carries through it all – her love of children and being involved with their personal growth and happiness. Dominant in her mind are the summers she spent at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation's Camp Friendship, where children with the most difficult of cancers came for a week of joy. She witnessed the power of participation – how involvement in group efforts brings great happiness and satisfaction to children, regardless of their station in life. Cheryle hopes that the children in your program will experience the delight and wonder that comes from being involved in a team effort, that they will be able to beam with pride when they exclaim: “We did that!”
